Delete the tags from an HTML text.

Detagger could be qualified as an HTML conversion tool to normal text, with its headers, lists and other elements. What it does is process a text and clean it of HTML tags so that it is easier to handle in diverse ambits. It has some extra options like the possibility to use wildcards and operate in batch mode.

Thanks to this use of wildcards you can also apply Detagger to delete Javascript code, comments or other types of tags from a text you aren't interested in. Other options in Detagger are the building of a list with all the document links, conversion only of the HTML in tables, preparation of a website for its insertion into a database, etc.
